ABOUT THIS VEHICLE
CARLEX SABBIA VINTAGE — A MERCEDES-AMG G 63 UNLIKE ANY OTHER
1 of 7 · Bespoke Carlex Design
Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale is proud to present one of only seven Carlex Design Sabbia Vintage builds in the world. This is not a modification package. It is a bespoke automotive commission — a hand-crafted tribute to the golden age of automotive design, executed on one of the most capable luxury platforms ever built.
WHERE CLASSIC ELEGANCE MEETS MODERN CAPABILITY
Since the early 20th century, luxury automobiles have symbolized prestige and sophistication. In the middle of the last century, the automotive world entered a new chapter defined by timeless beauty and purposeful functionality — a period when every line drawn and every stitch sewn carried intention. The Carlex Sabbia Vintage draws directly from that lineage, restoring classic elegance and a unique sense of style to the G-Class.
Amidst a market dominated by aggressive, oversized packages for the G-Class, the Sabbia Vintage stands apart. It does not shout. It does not posture. It expresses itself through restraint — a subdued palette of sand and vanilla, chrome accents applied with deliberate subtlety, and hand-woven textiles that reward close examination rather than drive-by attention.
THE CARLEX PHILOSOPHY
Carlex Design was not founded in response to market demand. It was founded on the conviction that automotive design, at its highest expression, is a form of applied art — and that a car, properly commissioned and executed, becomes a personal legacy.
Every Carlex Vintage build is produced in a limited run, finished by hand, and designed to mature rather than age. These are vehicles intended to gain meaning — and value — over time, both materially and emotionally. The Sabbia series, limited to seven examples worldwide, represents the purest distillation of that ethos.
HAND-CRAFTED IN EVERY DETAIL
The exterior transformation is defined by what has been added as much as by what has been removed. The aggressive modern cladding of the standard G 63 has been replaced with proportions that echo mid-century touring vehicles — polished chrome trim runs the length of the body, a classic hood ornament crowns the front, and whitewall tires wrap period-correct vintage-style wheel caps in polished chrome over painted centers.
Every chrome surface has been hand-polished. Every body line has been re-worked to harmonize with the vintage cues. The front bumper, side mirrors, door handles, and rear-mounted spare tire cover all carry design details drawn from the classic Mercedes-Benz vocabulary of the 1950s and 60s — updated, but never diluted.
Under the hand-formed elegance sits the uncompromised 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 of the AMG G 63. Turn the key and the vintage visual promise gives way to a deep, commanding growl — a reminder that this is not a pastiche. It is a modern AMG beneath a hand-tailored suit.
AN INTERIOR SOURCED BY HAND
Step inside the Sabbia Vintage and the commitment to the craft becomes immediately tactile. The cabin is finished in full vegetable-tanned leather in shades of sand and vanilla — a palette chosen for its timelessness, and for the way it softens and deepens with age rather than showing wear.
The seat centers feature a hand-woven basket-weave textile in a two-tone ecru pattern, framed by quilted leather bolsters and a perforated leather dot pattern running across the sides and steering wheel. The headliner is wrapped in alpaca-blend wool. The Carlex crest is subtly embossed into the headrests and side bolsters. Every surface — leather, metal, wood, and textile — was selected in person by Carlex's sourcing team from artisans who have dedicated their lives to perfecting their craft.
This is an interior to be lived in, not admired from a distance. And it is one you will not find on any other example of its kind.

A VEHICLE THAT APPRECIATES — MATERIALLY AND EMOTIONALLY
The Sabbia Vintage program is closed. Only seven examples will ever exist. Every one carries a build number and documented provenance from Carlex Design's Poland atelier. These are not production vehicles that can be re-ordered. They are finished works.
For collectors of modern coachbuilding, the Sabbia Vintage sits in rare company — alongside the limited runs from Brabus Rocket 1000, Mansory Gronos, and Carlex's own Sterling Vintage and Lago Vintage series. Its rarity is verifiable, its provenance is documented, and its place in the modern coachbuilt G-Class canon is already established.
All specifications, options, and descriptions are believed to be accurate but are not guaranteed. Vehicle is sold as-is where-is. Buyer is responsible for independent inspection and verification of all equipment, documentation, and condition prior to purchase.
